Pointly is built to guide, not to harvest your life.

What we send

When you ask for a guide, Pointly sends the page URL, title, and short labels for visible buttons and fields to our backend so it can choose the next step. That request is processed by our planner (OpenAI).

Voice

Optional. If you hold or click the mic, Chrome or Edge may send that audio to the browser’s speech service so the words can appear in the goal box. Pointly does not store recordings, and we do not send audio to our API.

What we never send

Passwords, card numbers, one-time codes, cookies, or the full HTML of the page. Pointly does not click or submit for you.

Saved walks

Walks and PDFs stay on your computer unless you export them yourself.

Billing

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. We store an install id, trial dates, and (after you subscribe) Stripe customer references.
